The Caribbean is a fisherman's paradise!
Our 15 ft Run-About is best suited for coastal fishing during your vacation adventure. We have two poles and reels rigged with 100 lb line for deeper fishing and larger fish. These include Marlin, Dorado, Spearfish, Barracuda, Wahoo, Sailfish and Yellow fin. We also have two lighter spinning rigs with 20 lb line for shallow water fishing for Tarpon, Snook, Bonefish, Jack and Bass.
Depending on the area fishing licenses or a local guide may be required. Check with us for more details. We try to keep up on the best fishing locations and ask the locals for the latest info. But we are visitors at each location, so the professional charter boats in the local area should be considered for the avid fisherman. This is particularly true for the larger fish such as Marlin which require traveling well off shore in a larger boat. Sometimes when we are passage making we fish from the Sloop as well.
