Barbuda is our Caribbean paradise for the 18th week of the year.
During this week our family sailing cruise will concentrate on Barbuda which is an ideal location for a vacation adventure. Barbuda is a mostly uninhabited island nature preserve. The 1600 inhabitants are mostly around Codrington the only town. There are no clubs here and only a few restaurants. This is a great spot for nature lovers. There are
hikes and biking ashore and it could be the best snorkeling in the Caribbean. There are hundreds of square miles of reefs in water 3 to 6 feet deep and the pink tinted beaches are spectacular. We will meet you at the Express ferry dock in Barbuda. Have some one at the dock hail the "Family Affair"on channel 9 or ask the captain before you disembark. We will bring the Run-About from our anchorage in Low Bay near 17.64753833,-61.86161 . You will need a taxi from the airport in Antigua to St. John's to
get the Express ferry to Barbuda (about 90 minutes). We will end the week with a 6 hour passage to Parham Harbour, Antigua on Saturday.
