Guadeloupe is our Caribbean paradise for the 21st week of the year.
During this week our family sailing cruise will concentrate on Guadeloupe which is an ideal location for a vacation adventure. Guadeloupe is actually two islands separated by a salt water river. It is governed as a department of France and it includes the islands of Les Saintes and Marie Galante. This is a beautiful island with tropical forests,
mountains waterfalls and a beautiful reef area called Cul-de-Sac Marin. This is our first of two weeks at this location. The sailing passages are short and totally in protected waters. We will pick you up at Port Louis near 16.41726667,-61.53407167 at the dinghy dock in the Fishing Port on Sunday afternoon. Have your taxi hail "Family Affair" on channel 9. We will come and pick you up at the fishing dock. At the end of the week we will deliver you to the dock at Malendure Bay, Guadeloupe on Sunday
morning before noon.

Itinerary & Passage Plan:
Sunday:
We will meet you in Port Louis, Guadeloupe on Sunday afternoon and spend the night there. You will need a taxi from the airport to the dock. Have the taxi hail the "Family Affair" on channel 9 and we will pick you up at the fishing dock.
Monday:
We will move anchorage to Grand Cul de Sac Marin. It will only take an hour around mid-day. From here we have easy access by Run-About to all the local reef areas that are extensive.
Tuesday:
We will stay in our anchorage and get acquainted with the recreational opportunities and the local activities.
Wednesday:
On Wednesday we will stay in our anchorage and get acquainted with the recreational opportunities and the local activities.
Thursday:
On Thursday we will stay in our anchorage and get acquainted with the recreational opportunities and the local activities.
Friday:
We will move anchorage to Malendure Bay leaving about 9:00 AM. It will take about 6 hours. This move is longer than normal but the waters are well protected. We spend the night here. From here we have easy access by Run-About to all of the eastern sea coast area of Basse-Terre.
Saturday:
On Saturday we will stay in our anchorage and get acquainted with the recreational opportunities and the local activities. We do not have to make passage today.
Sunday:
We will deliver you to the dock at Malendure Bay at your convenience before noon. So you will need a taxi to the airport from the Malendure dock. We can hail one using the radio.
