Grenada is our Caribbean paradise for the 31st week of the
year.
During this week our family sailing cruise will concentrate on the Grenada which is an ideal location for a vacation adventure. Grenada is a rolling, mountainous island, covered with fragrant spice trees and rare tropical flowers, bordered by stunning beaches,
and dotted with picturesque towns. So we spend two weeks here. Our second week is easy for sailing until the end of the week when we make an overnight passage to Tobago. We will pick you up at the dock at Prickly Bay, Grenada (aka L'Anse Aux Epines) near 11.9938717,-61.76163167 . You will need a taxi from the airport. It is close by the airport. Just have the taxi hail "Family Affair"
on channel 9 and we will
come and get you at the dinghy dock at Prickly Bay Marina. We will deliver you to the dock at Crown Point, Tobago on
Sunday morning before noon. The airport is nearby. Tobago has good connections
to other international airports such as St. Lucia, San Juan, and Port of
Spain.

Itinerary & Passage Plan: Sunday: We will meet you at the dock in Prickly Bay, Grenada
on Sunday afternoon and spend the night there. You will need a taxi from
the airport to the dock at Prickly Bay. It is close by. Have the taxi hail the "Family Affair" on channel 9 and we will pick you up at the
dock. Monday: On Monday we will stay
in our anchorage and get acquainted with the recreational opportunities and the
local activities. From here we have easy access with the Run-About to the southern island and nearby reefs. Tuesday: We will move anchorage to
Hog Island, Grenada leaving about 11:00 AM. It will take about
1 hour. Wednesday: We will spend Wednesday
day and night at Hog Island, Grenada. From here we have easy access by Run-About to the southern island and nearby reefs. Thursday: We will move anchorage
to St. Davids Harbour, Grenada and spend the night. We will leave about 10:00 AM. It is
about a 2 hour sail. From here we have easy access by Run-About to all of the
south bays and reefs. Friday: We will spend Friday day at St. Davids Harbour. From here we have easy access by Run-About to all of the south bays and reefs. We will clear Customs and Immigration here for our departure. Before sunset we will depart for one of our long open ocean passages to Crown Point, Tobago. It will take about 16 hours. We should arrive well before noon on Saturday. This will be an adventurous sail, mostly at night. If some of your group would rather not do this, then
you can disembark and make plans to meet up. You will need accommodations for the night. There are flights to Tobago and we could meet there. We can pick you up at the dock at Crown Point around noon. Just hail us on channel 9. Saturday: We will arrive well before noon Saturday at Crown Point, Tobago and we will spend the night here. We will check-in Customs and Immigration here or taxi to Scarborough. From here we have easy access by Run-About to Crown Point and points between. Sunday: We will deliver you to
the dock at Crown Point, Tobago at your convenience before noon.
So you
will need a taxi to the airport from the dock, it is very near. We can hail one
using the radio. Tobago has good airline connections to other Islands like St.
Lucia, San Juan, and especially Port of Spain, Trinidad with International flights.
