Tobago is our Caribbean paradise for the 33rd week of the year.
During this week our family sailing cruise will concentrate on the Tobago which is an ideal location for a vacation adventure. Tobago is one of the less developed and less commercialized Caribbean islands and it is part of a combined Trinidad and Tobago government. The beaches we visit are some of the most beautiful in the world and the Buccoo Reef has some of the best snorkeling and diving. Have the taxi from the airport hail Family Affair on channel 9. We will pick you up at the main dock in Man-o-War Bay (aka Charlotteville) on Sunday afternoon near 11.33129833,-60.551945 . There are connecting flights from Trinidad and some direct from the USA. We will end the week by making passage to Chaguaramus Bay, Trinidad. You will need a taxi from the dock to the Trinidad airport Sunday morning. We will arrange one using the VHF radio.

Itinerary & Passage Plan:
Sunday:
We will meet you in Man-o-War Harbor, Tobago on Sunday afternoon at the main dock and spend the night there. You will need a taxi from the airport to the dock. Have the taxi hail the "Family Affair" on channel 9 and we will pick you up at the dock and spend the night here.
Monday:
On Monday we will stay in our anchorage and get acquainted with the recreational opportunities and the local activities. From here we have easy access by Run-About other northwest locations.
Tuesday:
We will move anchorage to Parlatuvier Bay. It will take less than 2 hours about mid-day. We spend the night here. From here we have easy access by Run-About to all of the northwestern area.
Wednesday:
We will move anchorage to Courland Bay. It will take less than 2 hours around mid-day. From here we have easy access by Run-About to all of the northwestern area including Buccoo Reef.
Thursday:
On Thursday we will stay in our anchorage and get acquainted with the recreational opportunities and the local activities. From here we have easy access by Run-About to Buccoo Reef.
Friday:
We will move anchorage to Crown Point. It will take less than 2 hours about mid-day. We spend the night here. From here we have easy access by Run-About to Scarborough and Buccoo reef. We will clear Customs and Immigration for our passage early tomorrow.
Saturday
We will leave early about 4:00 AM for our 11 hour passage to Chaguaramas, Trinidad. This is a long downwind sail in open ocean. If some of your group wish to avoid this they should disembark Saturday and get a hotel. They can meet up with us in Chaguaramus in the late afternoon. We will need to check-in Customs and Immigration here in the late afternoon.
Sunday:
We will deliver you to the dock at Chaguaramas Bay at your convenience before noon. So you will need a taxi to the airport from the dock. We can hail one using the radio.
