Martinique is our Caribbean paradise for the 47th week of the year.
During this week our family sailing cruise will concentrate on Martinique which is an ideal location for a vacation adventure. Martinique is truly beautiful. It has the inland beauty of Dominica combined with the coastal beauty of Guadeloupe. Because of this we spend two weeks here and limit ourselves to a few chosen anchorages that give us access to the whole island. It has a very well developed tourism industry and it has a large amount of shore activities, clubs, restaurants, and tours. We will pick you up at the Trois Ilets main dock near 14.5461233,-61.04097833 on Sunday afternoon. It is near the airport across the bay from Fort de France. Have your taxi hail the "Family Affair" on channel 9. At the end of the week, we will deliver you to the Roseau, Dominica dock on Sunday morning at your convenience.

Itinerary & Passage Plan:
Sunday:
We will meet you in Trois Ilets, Martinique, near Fort-de-France on Sunday afternoon and spend the night there. You will need a taxi from the airport to the Trois Ilets dock. Have the taxi hail the "Family Affair" on channel 9 and we will pick you up at the dock.
Monday:
On Monday we will stay in our anchorage and get acquainted with the recreational opportunities and the local activities. From here we have easy access by Run-About to all of the Fort-de-France area. This is also a central location for easy access to most of the on-shore tours and hikes. So we will stay in this location for several days.
Tuesday:
On Tuesday we will stay in our anchorage and get acquainted with the recreational opportunities and the local activities. From here we have easy access by Run-About to all of the Fort-de-France area. This is also a central location for easy access to most of the on-shore tours and hikes. So we will stay in this location for several days.
Wednesday:
We will move anchorage to St. Pierre. We will leave about 10:00 AM for the 3 hour sail in protected waters. From here we have easy access by Run-About to all of the northwest area including the Mt. Pelee area.
Thursday:
On Thursday we will stay in our anchorage and get acquainted with the recreational opportunities and the local activities. From here we have easy access by Run-About to all of the northwest area including the Mt. Pelee area. This is also a central location for easy access to most of the on-shore tours and hikes.
Friday:
On Friday we will stay in our anchorage and get acquainted with the recreational opportunities and the local activities. From here we have easy access by Run-About to all of the northwest area including the Mt. Pelee area. This is also a central location for easy access to most of the on-shore tours and hikes. We will clear-out from Customs and Immigration here for our passage tomorrow.
Saturday
On Saturday we will make passage to Roseau, Dominica. It will take less than 7 hours leaving about 7:00 AM. If some of your group would rather not make passage, they can take an airplane and meet us there.
Sunday:
We will deliver you to the dock at Roseau, Dominica at your convenience before noon. So you will need a taxi to the airport from here but it is very close to the airport. We can hail one using the radio.
