We have a cat onboard. Usually the cat stays mostly in our berth. Other than that, generally the water based nature of your vacation insures a minimum of pollen and dust that causes most problems. Most people visiting the Caribbean remark that their symptoms disappear. There is one exception worth noting. From mid-May to mid-June there is a condition called "Sahara Sands" where sand dust from North Africa affects the Eastern Caribbean.
